David Furnell a question?

If the "£60,000 for Middle Road improvements is to be welcomed" then why did the Sholing Labour Councillors vote against it?

Good to see that you have now got my name correct. You have read my statement on SLP website. It is always good to know what your nemesis looks like.

You know full well that councillors do not vote on individual items in the budget and the Labour councillors would have been voting against the Tory budget as a whole.

I have been reading your blog trying to find out what you have been doing in Sholing. If you have been busy campaigning and meeting Sholing residents I would like it reflected in your blog.
There seems to be very little involving Sholing. Most of your entries are the usual diatribe against national Labour that I can read anywhere. Either you have nothing to report or you find Sholing boring. Either way it is about time you stood down.

David should get his own blog I think if he isn't happy with the contents of Gavin's.

Here is the statement he refers to. Nice picture!!!

dave,

Thank you for reading my blog. My blog is about my personal views not a Sholing specific blog. Also I do not divulge case work as much of it is of a personal nature and I believe that it is best not to discuss, what is for many people, their personal issues.

I believe that there are many comments relating to Sholing and the issues around the area, but like all Labour politicians and would be politicians you have a problem with the truth.

In reference to the money, it was in our budget and could have been put in the Labour budget but Labour chose not to. Indeed Labour has chosen to do nothing about the problem of speeding traffic along Middle Road for many, many years. At the budget setting meeting Labour Councillors did not even take the take the opportunity to welcome the extra funding.

Kind Regards, Gavin
