Conference season is upon us

It is interesting that in the conference season only the Conservatives are happy with their leader and the opinion polls (The Independent gave us a four point lead over the weekend). The Lib Dem conference starts this week and already they are looking to give their leader a bloody nose. Labour are debating which of their prospective leaders is most likely to lose the next General Election. It really looks like its going to be an interesting few weeks!

I got my conference pass and book through about a week ago. I hear though that the Party is being overwhelmed by last minute applications. I spoke to one friend tonight who spent practically the whole day on the phone trying to get hold of someone in the Conference department, chasing up their pass. Rumour has it that a couple of thousand extra people will be going to Conference this year.

Your not the only people happy with your leader. Although a leader with no substance or policies is a liltle bit pointless. Nigel Farage UKIP leader has the support of the party and his recent media performances and UKIPs new policies have seen UKIP take massive strides since Farage become leader.
